The Church Registers of Baptisms and Marriages start from 1540.

 

Registers of Baptisms prior to 1882, Marriages prior to 1837, and Burials prior to 1892 are now in safe keeping at the Suffolk Record Office, 77 Raingate Street, Bury St. Edmunds, IP33 2AR.

Baptisms, Marriages and Burials from those years onwards can be searched by arrangement with the Rector.  Visit our contact page for details.

The official fees for searches in registers, as set nationally, are: for the first hour + copy 19.00

 

 
 

Cemetery Grave Monument Details are available at

This site is run by volunteers and there may not be an image of the monument available but there is a listing of names that appear on gravestones at St Margaret's Parish Church.  Please note that there is also a separate cemetery on Millar's Way (over the Recreation Ground).
 Also the URC Chapel Lane also has its own cemetery.
